Activities of the weekend
I have been doing a couple of things this week-end, nothing major, but i though i would share it with you.
I rebuilt those metal shelves I’ve been using for years by homemade sculpted ones, that’s 7 prims shrunk down to one. Icing on the cake, they now have cross beams on the back, for no extra cost.
I am wondering if I should sell those once i get them properly textured or maybe i should make them a freebie.
Winter Ventura and myself are doing a joint project to get her collar and cuffs converted to the TouchBound system, that also means we converted her fancy little padlocks to it and they will work on every TouchBound products.
A little visit in the wasteland sims
Here is the result of a little visit in the Wasteland sims, I hadn’t been here in a long time.
Performance wise, even without the shadows enabled, this is a fairly busy sim when it comes to visuals, and because of it, my FPS where abysmal (i apologise for not using anti aliasing for the pictures).I suppose all the jagged buildings blend the borders between the parcels more than would classic/neat builds. I spent a little time visiting some of the various builds, especially Penny Patton’s little shop/warehouse. There was a few underground tunnels to visit too.
I visited this place a while ago and it seems to have evolved for the better in general.
I do have some criticism about the project although. In my opinion the sims are really densely packed, it almost feels a bit unnatural for a wasteland themed sim, unless you’re thinking about , lets say the DC area in Fallout3 , but i think my frame rate would say thank you to a less tightly packed layout.
This is the kind of projects that would probably benefit from being hosted on OpenSim, the whole “Sell products to pay the land it is sold upon” pressure, even if it isn’t as obvious as the rest of SL is still very present and tend to spoil the experience a bit. Again a grid solely dedicated to the project would offer better performances and a more unified experience.
Another thing i feel the estate is missing is a cohesive soundscapes, most of the radios are nice but the changes of style and mood are very aggressive, where you would expect a very discreet musical ambience like you would get in Fallout3’s desert. (Although some are actually quite nice and fitting)

Isolation Headphones Version 2
Fixed a bug that would cause the IM blocking button to present a behavior opposite to it’s current state.
IMs are now blocked when the IM Button is RED, The color coding of the isolation set being that green = permitted.
Stuffed ballgag version 6
Fixed a minor permission error that would make the object show as nomod, nocopy, notransfer.
The new KDC shop is open!
Come check it out, even if it’s only to have a look, many products have no a lower price and there is a nice and comfy little dungeon in the back to unwind.

3 more new pictures
I made most of the Baroness pictures yesterday but I was too tired to do a blog post, so I’m putting it here. By the way, I’m not updating the current shop with the new perms and stuffs since I’m going to replace it as soon as I’m done with all this.
The satellite vendors should be up to date the second I’m done with each objects, the perms and new layers are free for those who already bought the product obviously.
Some more eye candy, feel free to express your opinion.
Updates on the SubStrap Harness & Latex concubine
I’ve done a little round of update on those two outfits, namely adding extra layers, i had to rebuild a couple of textures, fix a few of the concubine skirts that where using the wrong texture (and somehow i never noticed)
Also the latex concubine arm flaps are now flexiprims.
