I guess we are making gun porn now.

Welcome to the umm… The Wurmingstein Arms central foundry I guess? This unique piece, made for Erika von Kroenen herself, is probably worth more than your life.

It is such over the top gun porn, it is so obnoxious… I love it.

The art deco fan pattern is nice, but frankly I should just draw something instead, it’s a bit repetitive and reminds me of some CoD gun skins.
I fixed the mag release on the heel, I added some of the internal linkage that ends up being visible (it serves as the ejector anyway) when the slide is locked.
I also reshaped the ejection port, added the safety. Oh yeah, even the barrel is rifled.

And did a lot of absolutely ridiculous engraving.
I tried to put Erika’s full name on the back strap, but it’s a bit hard (it’s also all scratched up because my shader isn’t handling the engraving right)

I might remove the “death” on the front strap, it’s a bit too tacky. It COULD be stamped on the barrel, so that it is hidden until the slide locks open?

Caps and gun that fuck

I managed to turn around the peaked cap attempt from last Friday and the two variants I’ve come up with… Simply fuck. I mean seriously, look at that. I’m never going to look this good ever again, my avatar has officially peaked (ouch that pun…).

Spent some time on the inner workings of the Mauser HSc. I’m doing way more than I need to. It’s the same issue I’ve always had with putting a gun model together, and also the reason why I never completed any in 20+ years. I’m trying to get everything to fit together, and a lot of those parts I don’t have measurements for, so I have to eyeball between photos, diagrams, and World of Guns screenshots. The point isn’t to aim for perfect accuracy, but to have roughly everything that is potentially visible, occupying the space.

Then I’ll simplify it all to its bare minimum.

For example here, the magazine is too low, the feed lips should surround the part of the bolt face that is used to push the next round into the chamber.

The ejection port… I thought I could get away with a boolean, but it looks disgusting… I’ll fix it. The other side also need some grinding to fit the safety lever.

An intimidating conductor?

This is my first attempt at making a suitable peaked cap for the Warden uniform and so far? It could be worse, but I’m not really into the intimidating conductor vibe.

She would probably shoot you if you tried to ride without a ticket.

Excepted I’m not a train conductor, so there is clearly something I’m not understanding about the way these are constructed.

Oh, yeah and I’ve done some additional work on the HSc, frame dishing, hammer, disassembly plug. I don’t want to go too far with it, but I need to do the work at the very least on the most visible areas: Whatever you can see in the ejection port, back of the slide and magazine well.
