KDC Paw Mittens V15 update!
This update contains a bunch general code changes that have been added over the past year, but it also contains a few fairly important changes:
- The mittens now auto play a bento “fist” pose (one for each hand).
- Added Alpha masks for Avatar 2.0 BoM (the existing alpha mask should work fine on LLUV compatible mesh bodies).
- Added an Avatar 2.0 auto-hide script for each mitten (you can modify/disable/delete them).
- Added an RLV folder auto-wear/unwear for each mitten (check the manual for details).
- Added tagplate/accessories support.
The infobox also links to the KDC Documentation Wiki which I recommend that you check for more details on the new functions.
The new nipple shackles are out!
I ended up making the “U” version (most voted) and the “V” version (second most voted) and I’m pretty happy that I did, I feel that the “V” adds a little bit of variety to what looks a little “too” uniform otherwise.
The scripting is basically, identical so it is really a question of style and nothing else. As with the nose shackle, I’ve included 3 sizes and “light” scripted versions.
As usual, you can get them from the KDC Main Store or from the SecondLife Marketplace (here and here).
Enjoy and stay hydrated!
Leather & Spade crop update!
I just pushed out an update for the KDC Lady Eleanor Leather Crop and KDC Lady Eleanor Spade Crop.
The update corrects a few issues and brings some much needed improvements:
- Code optimization.
- Improved particle trails.
- Hold animation auto-restart.
- Randomized pitch on all sound effects.
- Fix for a few issues when using both crops on th same avatar.
- Improved crop holder fix for a rare “stuck” bug.
- Slightly improved material aspect.
The KDC 10gauge Nose Shackle is out!
I tend to say this everytime, but this took longer than expected. I ended up re-doing all the low LOD models yesterday and ended up shaving off ~1000 complexity, yay!
This design is based on the kind of shackle fastener used to mend steel chains together. Now available in silver plated, hardened steel wire.
Ideal if you want a fairly invasive looking nose piercing that just begs to be tugged on.
Enjoy your new life as a slave or human cattle 😛
- Locks with the ring opening tool (provided) and support all the regular padlocks & accessories on the leashing ring.
- Comes in 3 shackle length: normal, XL and XS.
- The leashing feature also includes the (optional) “ow stop pulling me!” facial animation.
- Piercing weights are included like with the other ring sets.
As usual, you can find it at the KDC Main store, or the SecondLife Marketplace. Enjoy!
Important hotfix for the nose & nipple rings
Somehow I managed to push the last major update without stumbling on this one…
This update corrects and important bug that prevents removing time-release padlocks when their time has run out!
(This bug ONLY applies to time-release padlocks!)
Industrial pipe kit script update!
- Fixes a timer bug in toggle shaft valves & toggle gearbox valves.
- Adds one-time owner report on shaft position (for configuring/min maxes).
- Ensure that gearboxes & shafts prims have been found before touching them.
Marketplace: Use the auto-redelivery.
In-world: Pester me in IM 🙂

The Industrial Pipe Kit is released!
It is finally out! 3 months of my life I’ll never get back. (I can’t wait to actually USE it in my sim however!)
- All custom hand-made LOD models, for a crumple-free experience!
- Extremely low texture usage with an emphasis on reuse (all the textures are included and full-perm)
- “Slip-on” flange system! A lot less precision required.
- A good selection of turns in 45, 90 and 180° in 3 different turn radius as well as S-bends.
- A big selection of pipe valves from tiny to gigantic.
- Support frames! Because pipes don’t float.
- Click & drag valve scripts (but also a simple on/off alternative, scripts are opensource too)
This kit is tint & texture friendly: Many parts have as many as 8 individualy texturable sections.
Before you get the kit, check out the Manual, for a breakdown of the content.
Land Impact: 0.5 to 5 per part.
Complexity: 274 to 1237 per part.
As usual, you can get it from the SecondLife Marketplace or from the KDC Main Store (and cheaper too!)
Enjoy!
Piercing line update!
Is this post long enough yet?
Probably not, so here is the changelog:
- New ring model with proper LODs and a lower complexity.
- New piercing tool model & textures and lower complexity.
- Optional “pull” facial emote for Legacy avatars, bento heads and M4 venus heads.
- Support for generic lock accessories (ex: tag plates)
- Removed the ability to use weights and locks at the same time.
- Weights have been changed to function as generic lock accessories (need to be exchanged).
- Piercing tools have also been changed in an incompatible fashion (need to be exchanged too).
- Touch routing: only one clickable zone now.
- Reduced overall texture usage.
- Slightly reduced lock scale.
Send me the weight and piercing tools for replacement in a folder with a message, I’ll send you the updated versions as soon as possible!
Avara hood hotfix
I just pushed version 6 on the updater. The patch corrects a problem with M4 Venus for users that tried to use the “shape 2” variant with the hood.
Animations should be detected properly now, sorry that I did not notice this earlier, I don’t use shape 2 and naively assumed they shared the same animations.
Padlocks version 3 is out.
What’s new?
Version 3 brings all the padlocks that had not been updated to the latest version of the code it is all backward compatible, no critical bugs have been fixed (or found) and a few improvements have been added:
- Locked activation is now available on all locks that did not previously have it (manual).
- A minor hovertext sticking issue has been fixed.
- All locks now have a “public” configuration flag, default to off (manual).
- When first attached, locks will default to the HUD, and should be properly oriented.
- The heavy-duty padlock mesh has been updated with better LOD models and a few visual tweaks.
Lock API
All lock & key objects now respond to a couple of link_message commands, to make the life of 3rd party scripters easier:
- SetScriptState – Puts the script in a “locked” mode, the lock will disable itself and ignore all interactions, (useful if you want to put the lock inside a cabinet and prevent clicking it when the cabinet is closed)
- SetLockTime (time release locks only) – allows a 3rd party script to set the time of the lock, will also update the LCD display.
