A little sneak peek and some more

rubber straitjacket! Here is a little teaser for all the SL rubberists out there 🙂 I’m sure you will find it interesting.

I’m pretty much done making the textures of the pack and preparing the script add-on, it will come in the 15 classical KDC colors, so as usual it will perfectly (well nearly perfectly) match all my other latex products, with independent base and details, hell you can mix latex with the canvas or leather if you have the corresponding packs.

It’s also a slightly tweaked version of my latex, which, I believe greatly improve its look. I will be using this variation from now on as i believe it’s more subtle and realistic.

Now this isn’t really a product but I’ve been optimizing some more prims in Dead Realm and replaced all the ugly boulders over the tunnel with a few of the sculpts i initially made for floating islands. I also added one or two more trees. Only 3 sculpts were used instead of 10 spheres, so that’s a few more prims to spare and a much better looking mountain.

KDC and ER Collaboration on touchbound products

I proudly present you the result of a little collaboration with Winter Ventura from Eclectic Randomness, we have been friends for quite a while now and this is the first project we actually do together. She designed a collar to use with the TouchBound system, as well as matching sets of wrist and ankle cuffs and a very nice padlock design!

The collar has a large ring on the front that I absolutely love and the padlock has a tiny detailed keyhole on the front. They are both available in our respective shops:

And in our respective SecondLife Marketplace boutiques.

Isolation Headphones Version 2

Fixed a bug that would cause the IM blocking button to present a behavior opposite to it’s current state.

IMs are now blocked when the IM Button is RED, The color coding of the isolation set being that green = permitted.

Stuffed ballgag version 6

Fixed a minor permission error that would make the object show as nomod, nocopy, notransfer.

The new KDC shop is open!

Come check it out, even if it’s only to have a look, many products have no a lower price and there is a nice and comfy little dungeon in the back to unwind.

3 more new pictures

I made most of the Baroness pictures yesterday but I was too tired to do a blog post, so I’m putting it here. By the way, I’m not updating the current shop with the new perms and stuffs since I’m going to replace it as soon as I’m done with all this.

The satellite vendors should be up to date the second I’m done with each objects, the perms and new layers are free for those who already bought the product obviously.

Some more eye candy, feel free to express your opinion.

Some more updating

Same stuff as the past few days.

I have done a bit less today I’m trying to recover from a double hard disk failure, nothing major but backing everything up does take me some time.

Updates on the SubStrap Harness & Latex concubine

I’ve done a little round of update on those two outfits, namely adding extra layers, i had to rebuild a couple of textures, fix a few of the concubine skirts that where using the wrong texture (and somehow i never noticed)

Also the latex concubine arm flaps are now flexiprims.

Updates on the Mana Dress and Breast Teaser

Stocking the new shop means I’m also looking back at my inventory, see what should be retired and what is still up to today’s standards. So I’m doing a little update on some clothes, namely adding extra layers, and switching to mod/copy/notrans, i’m redoing some products pictures so they are at the level of the most recent ones.

I know, nothing new, but I’m doing a new shop, i might aswell make sure the goods exposed look decent.

Redesigning the shop

The old shop: What wasn’t really that good.

This has been bugging me for a while, since i moved my shop from the mainland to dead realm, i never had the courage to reconsider what i actually built, and frankly, as different and otherworldly it looked, from a shopper point of view it probably was less than stellar.

  • From a practical point of view, it was very difficult to add more products, once one of the “hubs” was filled, I had to build a new one, which would be mostly empty at the start.
  • Even if i took great care to prevent Peoples from falling down with a lot of invisible prims, walking around on mostly black structures, dangling over a precipice was less than ideal for new users.
  • The 4 circular hubs connected by jagged paths, even with signage was not really the most efficient shopper experience, you would walk around trying to find what you wanted, and you would double back very often. I even frustrated myself going back and forth between the two clothing hubs, unable to find the product i wanted to update.
  • It is way too dark, i don’t think that i had calibration equipment at the time for my displays but it is way too low on the light spectrum to work for most Peoples.

The new shop: What I am trying to address.

  • It is now inside a building, only the telehub remain the same and is partially open to let me add platforms later, I’m still going to keep the same dark otherworldly theme.
  • The layout is much more compact and focused, there is a central alley leading to the freebie area and the lift to the ground level, on the left everything Bondage like, and on the right everything related to latex and clothing.
  • From a builder’s point of view, easy to expand. The structure is very modular and can be easily enlarged from each side, when needed.
  • The lighting is bright and warm, it’s flattering the structure and reinforcing the sort of private dungeon feel.
  • It looks like a fancy virtual boutique for BDSM shoppers, it has mannequins wearing fetish gears and display cases for some accessories.
