Midnight mesh run
I managed to pull myself out of a couple of days of depression, so I’m back working on the Vermilion collar.
The low-poly mesh is complete, but that doesn’t mean I’m done for the night, I want to get it all unwrapped before it is time to go back to bed.

HUD, Elbow cuffs and another vanity shot.
I’ve adapted the cuffs to fit the elbows, did some scripting and configuration and also put together the HUD face.
I have some issues with the clickable areas… they need some… adjustment. As it is, it’s too hard to click the D-rings in my opinion.
And yes Atsumi, this pose already exist 😛

Yesterday I couldn’t resist tweaking the strap edges furter and came up with something more faithful to the original. Then most of the time spent yesterday and today involved low-polygon modeling, some unwrapping and this test render (at a stupidly large resolution).

I need a little break from working on the shoin school uniform so I picked something simple like… (NSFW) A very specific leather cuff design.
Yeah, the highpoly model is basically done already. It went so fast! It might be related to the unhealthy amount of leather cuffs I’ve modeled over the past years 😛
Shoin School Uniform, first inworld test.
Yes it looks a bit weird but that’s because it’s not actually rigged to the avatar, I’m just pretending.
It’s also horribly blurry because I haven’t packed the texture UVs yet. I wanted to run some kind of test to see how well the normal mapped model would do in its current state.
Oh yeah, I still haven’t finished the belt either.
